Luxury Reel InspIration
September 2025
I’ve pulled together a list of luxury reel ideas that stand out and are worth sharing with our clients and VIPs. These are the ones that caught my eye in September, and I think they could inspire some amazing content for your listings.
PS: I’m looking for an opportunity to do the third idea on the right property.
For homes in the framing stage, this reel style is a game changer. Using AI, we can show what the finished home will look like with smooth morph cuts. It turns an unfinished property into a high-impact visual experience.
The camera starts blurred or with “dirt on the lens.” The agent wipes it clean, revealing the home. Add a quick hook line, then roll into the property tour. It’s simple, different, and immediately engaging.
This format frames a listing in a fresh way. Instead of just showing the house, you break down what someone would actually need to earn to afford it. Cover property taxes, insurance, mortgage payment (with 20% down), and debt-to-income ratio. It’s a simple but powerful way to make the listing feel real.
Perfect for unique properties or when you want to stand out from the fast-cut Instagram trend. We slow things down, add a vintage film look, and create something timeless. It’s a different vibe that commands attention.
Land is always tricky to film. This approach makes it relatable by showing how someone could use the property. A great hook is having the agent pull up in a car—something visually stronger than just standing in front of an open field.
Honorable Mention: High Stakes
This isn’t from real estate, but it’s a perfect example of grabbing attention with stakes. The person in the reel is soaking wet, and he stays that way the entire video. The commitment keeps you watching. Real estate reels could use a similar principle—commit to a visual hook that makes people stop scrolling.
If you’re in Southern Oregon and want to create luxury reel content like this, our team at Whetstone Creative Agency is here to help.
This is a VIP-only post, so it’s not public. Feel free to pass it along to agents you know who’d benefit from seeing these examples.
